Banta Elementary School District 2020-2021 Reopening
Banta Elementary School District would like to recognize County Public Health Officer, Maggie Park, MD, for her courageous leadership and support during the COVID-19 crisis. We are all working together to keep the Banta Community healthy and informed.
As
we plan for next school year, we are preparing to continue to offer the
best education for children that meets each individual child needs. At
this time, we are planning to start school on Tuesday, August 11th, as
scheduled. See letter sent out to parents for more information on what
the district will be offering subject to California being in Stage Three
of COVID 19 continuum and California Department of Education and San
Joaquin County Health Department Guidelines:

The school and district offices will remain closed to the public. If you need to
reach them please call. We ask that you do not come to the district
office or school site at this time. Please call if you

Meals Provided to Students During the Summer
BESD's Food & Nutrition Program will provide an opportunity
for families to drive through and pick up meals for the children in
their family at the school site. Children must be present in order
to provide meals, per USDA guidelines.
SUMMER MEAL SCHEDULE
Beginning Tuesday, June 2nd we will start our Summer Meal program
schedule. Meals will be provided during the summer until school resumes
in August. Meals
will be served one day a week on Tuesdays only from 11:30 am to 1:00
pm. at our two school site locations. You will receive a breakfast and
a lunch for 5 days for each child.
