Banta Elementary School District School Closure

Banta Elementary School will remain  closed through the remainder of the 2019-20 school year.  April 2, 2020, the San Joaquin County Superintendent of Schools announced a recommendation for all schools in San Joaquin County to remain closed through the end of the school year.  For more information:

The school and district offices will remain closed to the public.  If you need to reach them please call.  We ask that you do not come to the district office or school site during this difficult time.  Please call if you have any questions or concerns, we are here for you.

Student Chromebook/iPad/Textbook Pickup Schedule:

If you were not able to pick up your student devices during the scheduled pick up times please email:  bantatechsupport@bantasd.org

We will be happy to schedule a time for you to pick up your child's device.
Banta Elementary has a Chromebook (grades 2-8) and an iPad  (grades TK-1) available for each student to check out and use at home.  Textbooks are also available if teacher has requested students to pickup.

Meals Provided to Students During School Closure

BESD's Food & Nutrition Program will provide an opportunity for families to drive through and pick up meals for the children in their family at the school site.  Children must be present in order to provide meals, per USDA guidelines. 

Starting March 30th pick up day for Grab N' Go Meals will change: 
Pick ups will be Monday & Thursday only, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
, in the parking lot in front of the office at Banta Elementary.  Please remain in your cars and the meals will be brought to you.

We will not be serving meals during spring break April 10th to the 17th.

U.S. Census 2020
The U.S. Census 2020 Survey opens April 1, 2020. Banta Elementary School District needs your help in completing the survey.  California receives over $7 billion in vital federal aid for programs that support schools.   The Census count determines  the distribution of these funds. The link above provides additional important information regarding the survey and importance of every family in California taking the survey.
